We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Director of CAR-T Customer Success. Internally known as a Director of Marketing, this opportunity will be a fast paced, highly visible role, with responsibility to anticipate Authorized Treatment Center (ATC) customer challenges, proactively providing solutions, and providing the customer lens internally for non-promotional customer facing activity.
Reporting into the Executive Director of Market Development, the Director of Customer Success can be remotely based within the contiguous United States, working West Coast business hours are desirable and travel 25%+ is to be expected.
Key Responsibilities of the Director of CAR-T Customer Success :
- Partner with ATC onboarding directors to develop tactics and resources that support an efficient and effective ATC authorization process.
- Engage with customer facing teams to identify opportunities and be the internal champion for operational customer solutions which enable delivery of CART and authorization of new centers.
- Effectively deliver customer insights and perspective by partnering with Patient & Channel Access, Tech Ops, & Quality to help shape optimal customer facing resources / tools / processes.
- Engage with authorized treatment center staff and key stakeholders involved in the delivery of CART to develop insights on current CART delivery challenges.
- Partner with Global Analytics & Commercial Operations to ensure effective insights development.
- Partner with U.S. sales leadership and the US Health Systems Marketing team to support the rollout and execution of key demand enablement activities.
- Represent the department as a member of cross-functional project teams providing guidance, insight, and recommendations in line with US Health System Goals.
Basic Qualifications :
- Advanced scientific degree (i.e., MD, PharmD, PhD) and 8+ years of experience.
- OR Master’s Degree and 10+ years of experience.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience.
- OR Associate’s Degree and 14+ years of experience.
- OR High School Diploma / GED and 16+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Demonstrated success in influencing key stakeholders working collaboratively in a cross functional environment through excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, high EQ, and persuasion.
- Extensive understanding of CAR-T therapy landscape and stakeholders, ideally with prior cell therapy experience.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with ability to formulate, develop, and execute strategy.
- Proven ability to develop solutions to complex business situations, including understanding diverse perspectives, synthesizing key considerations, and presenting aligned recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, highly competent presenter, able to gain credibility, engender trust and influence all levels, strong partnering skills, bias for action, and tangible results.
- Ability to translate market research findings into actionable insights and tactical plans.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, develop, and drive a personal work plan, and adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
- Exceptional project management skills and focus on process simplification.
- Comfort with uncertainty and developing innovative new solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Understanding of the End to End (E2E) patient journey and key moments that matter for customers.
- Data-driven mindset with proven ability to blend quantitative and qualitative feedback to optimize the customer experience.
The salary range for this position is : $201,025.00 - $260,150.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
