Position Summary
Applications are being accepted to create a pool of qualified applicants for possible future adjunct teaching positions within the Pierce College District.

The salary is $55.11 per clock hour.
Essential Functions
- Deliver quality reference, instruction and information services to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- In collaboration with library and departmental faculty, design, teach and promote an information literacy curriculum within an outcomes assessment and abilities-based model.
- Participate in developing the library's reference and circulating collections.
- Administer and troubleshoot current library technologies, such as Alma / Primo, LibGuides, and electronic resources.
- Work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Take the leadership on library projects as needed.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an ALA-accredited library program OR Master's degree from an accredited institution from any discipline including 15 graduate semester credits in the discipline.
- Experience designing and teaching course-integrated library instruction.
- Ability to serve students and faculty effectively with an instructional philosophy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
