Job Description : Quality and Compliance Coordinator

Reports To : Quality and Risk Manager | Compensation : $55,000-70,000 (DOE)
The Quality and Compliance Coordinator provides essential administrative and project support to the Quality, Risk, and Compliance functions at our Federally Qualified Health Center (Look-Alike). This role supports committee coordination, policy management, compliance readiness, and quality improvement initiatives. The Coordinator will assist in maintaining HRSA compliance, tracking performance metrics (UDS / HEDIS / MIPS), and promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and mission-driven professional eager to contribute to quality of care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare agendas, supporting materials, and meeting minutes for internal committees, including the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Risk & Patient Experience Committees.
- Track and follow up on action items from meetings, ensuring timely progress and accountability.
- Assist in quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors for quality and risk.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance projects across all departments.
- Assist in preparation for HRSA Operational Site Visits (OSVs), including policy review, evidence gathering, and compliance documentation.
- Help track Uniform Data System (UDS) performance metrics and follow up on improvement opportunities.
- If clinical, assist with chart audits, deep dives into quality measures, and identification of care gaps.
- Help build or optimize workflows within the EMR (eClinicalWorks), including templates and reports.
- Troubleshoot and escalate unresolved EMR issues when needed.
- Help manage and format policy documents and procedures across departments.
- Support the HIPAA Security Risk Assessment process and maintain compliance documentation.
- Use platforms like Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, Monday.com, and RingCentral to support internal communication and task tracking.
- Maintain well-organized records and digital workspaces for quality and compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff at all levels.
- Engage with external partners, including lab vendors and payors, to coordinate data exchange and quality initiatives.
- Foster a positive, solutions-focused work culture aligned with our mission.
- Strong proficiency with technology and digital platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Monday.com, and RingCentral.
- Excellent written communication skills; capable of drafting and formatting policies, reports, agendas, and meeting minutes with clarity and professionalism.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently on action items.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively; can troubleshoot and problem-solve with minimal oversight.

Required Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare or primary care settingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughPreferred Qualifications :
