Additional Information : This position requires the following :
- Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate recreation programs for school age children, adults, seniors and special populations
- Recruit and train part time program staff and volunteers
- Line / paint a variety of sports fields
- Experience with Access, Excel and Microsoft Office
- Provide supervision for part time staff and volunteers
- Assign and monitor duties of site coordinators and supervisors
- Develop standards, procedures, and regulations for recreational programs
- Develop training models for various program areas
- Maintain inventory of equipment and vehicle
- Budget management of programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Assist in seeking additional funding through grant writing and special projects with available resources
- Develop and maintain cooperative, collaborative working relationships with other agencies in the county
- Perform administrative and supervisory functions required in operation of total program
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director
The position requires excellent time management skills. The individual must have the ability to multitask and process instructions efficiently.
