Customer Service Payroll Specialist

Location : Charlotte, North Carolina

Duration : 3 months, contract with ongoing extensions

Pay : $20

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create work orders, utilizing the most appropriate CTI while accurately and thoroughly capturing structured data for each issue in order to provide audit trials and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies to the existing processes within Operations and document current processes.
  • Ability to understand questions / issues presented by the field managers in order to take full ownership of the resolution.
  • Provide support to answer incoming calls during high call volume times, according to established procedures and performance standards.
  • Make recommendations of process changes; provide documentation and testing to implement process changes and provide training for the team.
  • Provide knowledgeable support for all payroll applications (including SAP, MyCPM, MySTAFF, MyRequests and other applications) and based on interactions within those applications, make recommendations for future improvements / enhancements.
  • Process and respond to emails according to standard procedures.
  • Process off-cycle checks according to standard procedures.
  • Complete necessary corrections listed on internal data audits.
  • Provide customer service leadership on projects involving multiple teams within the department.
  • Recognize issues or trending work orders; raise questions about the impact to others and or other applications while providing some troubleshooting and resolutions suggestions.
  • Perform other team-specific tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Payroll Ops Customer Service Payroll Specialist II or 2 years previous customer service call center experience
  • Previous experience working with clients in a fast paced, complex, deadline-oriented service environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and suggest resolution to issues.
  • Payroll processing knowledge preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
