Travel Required : Occasional as to attend our annual convention and seminars, less than 25%

Compensation : $80,000 - $105,000, Salary exempt; based on experience

Office Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Your Role in Our Story

In your role, you’ll lead and organize communication strategies and initiatives that support our growing franchise network.

You’ll develop comprehensive plans, oversee content creation, and ensure consistent messaging across various platforms. Your work will create a seamless experience for our franchisees and customers, empowering them to engage more fully with our brand.

You’ll closely collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Director of Content and Creative to ensure every communication piece drives toward our larger company goals.

What Success Looks Like

  • Strategic Communication Planning : Develop and manage comprehensive communication plans that drive engagement for key events while aligning with Signal’s business goals and franchise needs.
  • Content Development : Oversee the creation of high-quality content across multiple channels emails, newsletters, presentations, and more that resonates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Franchise Network Support : Act as the primary communications liaison between the home office and franchise network, providing communication toolkits, guidelines, and templates to ensure brand-aligned messaging throughout all franchise activities.
  • Event Communications : Lead event communication strategies from start to finish, making sure our franchisees and customers stay engaged before, during, and after each major event to drive engagement and participation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Success in this role means thriving in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with leadership, marketing, operations and franchise teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives that elevate the brand experience and deliver results.
  • Metrics & Optimization : Measure and optimize the effectiveness of communication efforts using relevant tools (e.g., HubSpot, email analytics, surveys) and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and outcomes.

What You Need to Win

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing communications, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with franchise models or multi-unit business models is a plus
  • Proficiency with communications platforms, such as HubSpot or other CRMs.
  • Proven track record of successful communications strategies for events, meetings, and network-wide initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with creative and content teams to bring communications strategies to life.
  • Deeply passionate about our mission and can articulate why.
  • Willing to contribute to a Championship Culture of teamwork, passion, and collaboration.

Skills / Abilities :

  • Strong project management skills, a passion for strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable and skilled in problem-solving.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, including a Motor Vehicle Report.

The Office Environment :

You’ll work in a standard office setting with a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Our collaborative workspace fosters cross-departmental projects and teamwork.

Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. You may also experience moderate noise levels and occasional outdoor conditions, such as walking between buildings or attending networking events.

Physical Demands :

Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator, computer keyboard, and phone.
