Quality Engineer

Our client, a global automotive manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a Sr Quality Engineer to join their team! You'll be part of a team that's driving innovation in the automotive industry backed by cutting-edge technology and a people-first culture. This position will involve : Will have a focus on APQP Making sure the highest quality of parts are delivered to the customers Supporting suppliers, customers, operations and program launches Ensuring TS16949 compliance Internal Auditing PPAP submissions Developing and managing quality systems Supporting corrective action processes Problem solving Analysis of quality documentation Customer interaction / communication Creating / writing quality plans and procedures Making sure job performance standards are met Collaborating with other departments on continuous improvement projects.
