Status : Full Time / Direct / No Relocation Reimbursement

Compensation : $ 65,000-105,000 - Relevant to Job Experience

Job Description :

The CNC programmer's responsibilities will include programming and setup / operation of multiple Haas CNC 4 Axis & 3 Axis Mills and Haas / Mori Seiki CNC Lathes in a prototyping and production environment. This will include initial programming of the machines for prototyping use and production runs as well as touch up of each progressive production run if required. Daily responsibilities will include interaction with Engineering / Research and Development teams as well as coordination with Production Management and Scheduling departments. Will need to supervise and coordinate scheduling / operation with existing CNC machinist / operators. Product scope includes aluminum, steel, stainless steel, A2 / Ampco Tool steels. Compensation to be based upon experience and supervision / management experience. Experience in tool and die manufacturing desired along with manual mill and lathe experience.

Tasks required will include :

• CNC Programming with Mastercam / blue print reading - manual code writing / editing
• CNC Machine setup / operation / machine maintenance
• Prototype / Production tooling / fixture design / validation / usage for machining CNC or manual made parts
• Manual machining for fixture design using Mori Seki manual Lathe / Bridgeport mill
• Inspection / Production launch / 1st article inspection
• Interface with MRP-ERP entry for production component jobs and tracking
• Management of tool usage, order submission to purchasing for needed consumables.

The individual must be able to import files from CAD into Mastercam and independently program the parts for Lathe or Mill work on Haas or Mori Seki machines. Have the ability to edit the code for optimization for production operators. The ability to work on various projects simultaneously should be one of your assets.
