Guarantee Electrical is seeking a visionary Director of Learning and Development to transform how our Partners grow, learn, and lead. In this role, you'll build the learning strategies that fuel our growth-from apprentices mastering their craft to executives leading transformational change. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Drive Strategic Learning Innovation You'll design and execute comprehensive learning strategies that directly impact our bottom line. This means creating multi-year roadmaps that anticipate future capability needs, establishing metrics that prove ROI, and building learning governance that ensures every program delivers real business value.

Build Tomorrow's Leaders You'll create leadership development experiences that don't just teach management skills-they transform high performers into leaders who embody the Guarantee Way. From emerging leader programs to executive coaching initiatives, you'll build the bench strength that secures our future.

Create a Learning Culture Transform Guarantee into an organization where learning happens everywhere-not just in classrooms. You'll design engaging experiences that blend formal training, on-the-job learning, mentoring, and self-directed development. Think microlearning, gamification, and communities of practice that make learning irresistible.

Lead Digital Transformation Bring learning into the digital age by implementing cutting-edge platforms and technologies. From AI-powered personalization to mobile learning for our field teams, you'll leverage technology to make learning accessible, engaging, and effective for every Partner.

Accelerate New Partner Success Design onboarding experiences that turn new hires into productive Partners faster than ever before. You'll create role-specific pathways, mentoring programs, and feedback systems that ensure every new Partner feels welcomed, prepared, and excited about their future with Guarantee.

Enable Performance Excellence Work with our People Team to weave learning into the fabric of performance management and career development. You'll help managers become better coaches, Partners to own their development, and everyone to see learning as the path to advancement.

Champion Change When Guarantee transforms-whether adopting new technologies, entering new markets, or evolving our processes-you'll be the architect of learning solutions that ensure successful adoption. You'll turn resistance into readiness and confusion into capability.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven L&D Leadership : 7+ years of progressive learning and development experience, with at least 3 years leading L&D functions. You've built and scaled learning programs that delivered measurable business impact in organizations with 500+ employees.
  • Strategic Vision : You see beyond training requests to understand business challenges. You speak fluently with executives about ROI, capability gaps, and how learning drives competitive advantage. Construction or industrial experience is a plus, but your ability to quickly understand our business is what matters most.
  • Leadership Presence : You command respect in the boardroom and credibility on the job site. You influence without authority, build coalitions across divisions, and inspire others to invest in their own development.
  • Technical Savvy : You're excited by learning technologies and have hands-on experience with LMS platforms, authoring tools, and emerging technologies like VR training. You understand how AI and analytics can transform learning, and you're always exploring what's next.
  • Design Excellence : You know that great learning experiences don't happen by accident. You understand adult learning principles, instructional design, and how to create programs that stick. You've designed everything from 5-minute microlearning to year-long leadership journeys.
  • Data-Driven Mindset : You measure what matters and use data to tell compelling stories. You've built dashboards, calculated ROI, and used analytics to continuously improve learning outcomes. You know that "we trained 100 people" isn't a success metric-business impact is.
  • Change Leadership : You've led organizational transformations and know how to use learning as a lever for change. You understand resistance patterns, adoption curves, and how to build the coalition needed to make change stick.
  • Communication Excellence : You're equally comfortable presenting to the board, facilitating a leadership workshop, or explaining a new program to field teams. Your written communication is clear and compelling, whether it's a strategic proposal or a quick email update.
