The Administrative Manager oversees all administrative tasks, in addition to supervising administrative staff, interns and volunteers. Oversees administrative operations directing internal and external messaging on behalf of the organization. Duties include coordinating print and digital communications, assisting with public relations events, preparing press releases and public statements to address newsworthy activities within the organization.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet; attendance at events, i.e., fundraisers, may have moderate noise.

Work Hours : Scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the office hours of operation, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM, as well as some evenings and weekends depending on Board meeting and gathering schedules.
Training Period : The first 120 days (approximately 4 months) of continuous employment at ARS will be a learning experience. You will learn your job duties and responsibilities, get acquainted with your manager(s) and fellow employees, and familiarize yourself with ARS in general. We refer to this initial period of employment as your Training Period.
