Director of Origination

A company is looking for a Director or Sr. Director, Origination.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing, negotiating, and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and complex power off-take arrangements

Building and maintaining relationships with utilities, CCAs, and other partners

Coordinating with various departments to develop customer solutions and evaluate market revenue potential

Required Qualifications

MBA with three years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with eight years of progressive experience in energy markets

Three years of experience in long-term energy procurement structures and technologies

Experience and knowledge of renewable generation technologies

Knowledge of regulatory policies, rates, tariffs, and electric transmission

Strong understanding of economic drivers for renewable energy projects
