Key Responsibilities
- Pull assignments or work orders from computer, as needed.
- Work with Passenger Assistance Agents (PAA's) to ensure all requests for services are met.
- Do all reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Must be familiar with all FAA / TSA / Airline / Company regulations.
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
- Deal courteously and tactfully with fellow employees and passengers if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees.
- Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from PAA and employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public in a courteous manner.
- Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required.
- Maintain and distribute radios (where applicable). Always complete the appropriate documentation and reports in thorough and timely manner.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
High school diploma, GED or preferredMinimum of 18 years oldExcellent communication skillsMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAbility to operate a computer / tablet to enter and retrieve dataMust be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spacesMust be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipmentMust be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tagsEligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirementsLegally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipMust be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational needSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationsWhat We Provide
