- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with clinical guidelines and scope of practice\n
- Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatments\n
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes\n
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team, patients, and families\n
- Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination\n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support discharge planning, referrals, and psychosocial needs\n
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients and their families\n
- Support patients and families through health challenges and crisis situations\n\nRequirements\n
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required\n
- Active Registered Nurse license valid in the State of Kentucky (New graduates may work under a provisional license for up to 6 months)\n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire\n
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire\n
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 30 days of hire\n
- Handle With Care (HWC) certification required within 6 months of hire\n
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills\n
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure\n
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)\n
