About the Work Unit : The work unit provides budget, accounting, procurement, and financial reporting services to the Colorado Department of Public Safety. Key responsibilities include managing and applying leave policies, tracking and coordinating leave, applying payroll knowledge, advising employees and supervisors, preparing reports, and conducting data analysis and reconciliation.

Minimum Qualifications : To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the following options : two years of professional experience in HRIS, personnel, or payroll systems, or two years of appropriate education in Human Resource management. Preferred qualifications include accuracy, attention to detail, experience in leave tracking, knowledge of timekeeping systems, customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Conditions of Employment : Requires successful completion of a background investigation, a valid Colorado Driver's License, and residency in Colorado at the time of application.
