JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE Functions as a strategic business partner and advisor to executives, managers, supervisors and employees in the development and implementation of human resources strategies and solutions that align with organizational goals.
Serves as a liaison between entity / departments and the corporate human resources functions and represents the needs of the business units in the design of human resource programs and policies.
Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives and takes a lead role in complex investigations.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The HR Employee Relations team at Samaritan Health Services provides a professional, fair and knowledgeable approach to supporting employees and management.
The team provides guidance in employee relations, interpretation of policies, procedures, and contract language, as well as facilitation of ADAAA accommodations.
The Employee Relations team works hand-in-hand with other specialized HR teams to provide excellent service to customers.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Four (4) years of progressively responsible Human Resources or closely related experience, including two (2) years of exempt-level work, required.
PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification required. Labor relations experience preferred.
