Accountabilities

The Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer will :

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data models and pipelines in cloud-based environments, with a focus on BigQuery and other data warehousing technologies.
• Implement and manage data storage, partitioning, and clustering strategies to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives, security standards, and data governance practices.
• Develop, maintain, and document SQL, Python, and ETL processes to support AI / ML and data-driven workflows.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation and error-handling mechanisms.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve data management processes, from ingestion to reporting layers.
• For senior-level team members : provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, assess solutions for scalability and security, and support continuous improvement of internal standards and documentation.
