Software Engineer, Risk (Remote - US)

As a Software Engineer on the Risk team, you will help design, build, and maintain systems that protect users and the business from fraud, identity threats, and transactional risks. Your work will directly contribute to secure, scalable, and resilient backend services that monitor activity, detect anomalies, and prevent financial loss. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and third-party partners to deploy reliable and compliant systems. Accountabilities

In this role, you will :

• Design, build, and maintain backend services that support fraud detection, identity verification, and transaction monitoring.
• Develop APIs and distributed systems for real-time risk and fraud prevention.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement secure, scalable solutions.
• Integrate third-party risk and compliance platforms while ensuring secure data flows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing scale, security, and reliability.
• Create clear documentation to support team collaboration and operational excellence.
